A week near Bedale in Yorkshire...

Saturday 27th Feb` to Friday 4th March 2016.

After a two year gap we were back up the hills!  Ian arranged for us to stay in a lovely stable conversion on a farm close to Bedale in Yorkshire.  For those who didn`t know, Ian, our team leader for over 35 years, had a bicycle accident in 2013 which meant he was in a wheelchair.  We had plans in 2015 to get away for a week but the plans came to nothing.

Anyway, we did get away this year and Ralph, Mark Clough, Bob, Pedantic Pete and myself drove a hire car to Yorkshire.  Ian had driven himself up there and Mark and Tim Odlum also met us there.  Peter Allen drove up to us for the last evening so we enjoyed his company for just one night!  As always though, it was good to see him and have a laugh.

This is the property... Diamond Hill farm
